• Provide, maintain, and improve the Al Qurra service
• Personalize your experience (e.g., recommendations based on listening history)
• Send notifications about new recitations from reciters you follow
• Communicate with you about updates to the service

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely in PostgreSQL databases. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Sessions are managed via secure, HTTP-only cookies. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.

4. Audio Content

Quran recitation audio is streamed from CDN sources (Quran.com) or from reciter uploads hosted on our servers. We do not collect analytics on which specific ayahs you listen to — only surah-level listening history for your personal progress tracking.

5. Third-Party Services

Al Qurra uses the following third-party services:

• Quran.com CDN: For streaming official Quran audio recitations
• Google Fonts: For loading Poppins and Cairo typefaces

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at alqurra@hibeex.com.

7. Children's Privacy

Al Qurra does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
